The story.
Problem
Manual logging of medical-device cleaning cycles is error-prone and audit-hostile. A scope can pass through a dozen hands a day, and a missed entry creates compliance risk.
Approach
- Stakeholder workshops to map the existing reprocessing flow and identify hardware integration points.
- Documented the right hardware/software stack before building, then implemented a React front-end against a Laravel API.
- Tested rigorously before and during rollout to keep clinical operations uninterrupted.
Outcome
Reduced manual data entry by 50% and gave the team end-to-end traceability of every device through every cycle.
